Happy Wellness Wednesday! Your health is not just important for you, but for your loved ones as well. Keeping your body fit and capable is a gift for your whole family. Playing baseball with your kids. Wrestling on the trampoline. Doing all your own yard work. All things that are achieved through a healthy body. I had a nice conversation with a gentleman yesterday, and we were discussing how you don't have to set world records to be in shape. You just have to be willing to challenge your body.

Happy Wellness Wednesday! With all of the information available at our fingertips today, things can tend to get oversaturated and cause us to overcomplicate things. Let's try to focus on what truly matters. Keep the focus on point. Promise yourself that you will NOT quit. As soon as someone becomes ok with quitting, it becomes a HABIT.

Happy Wellness Wednesday!! Let's talk about the differences in Dynamic Stretching and Static Stretching and when to use each.

Dynamic stretching involves controlled, repetitive movements that take joints and muscles through a full range of motion. It keeps the body in motion and mimics the movements of the activity you are about to perform. Thus, dynamic stretching should be used before training.

Static stretching involves holding a stretch in a stationary position for a period, typically 30 to 90 seconds. It is a slow, relaxing stretch where muscles are stretched in a fixed position. Static stretching is better suited for after training.
