This specialty session is all about giving your body the reset it’s been craving.

We’ll start with a warm foot soak. You can choose a blend that addresses detox, stress relief, or something custom depending on what you need that day. It’s the perfect way to ease in and let your nervous system start to slow down.

From there, you’ll get a full reflexology session focused on releasing tension, improving circulation, and helping your whole body feel more balanced.

To finish the session, you get to choose a pain relief cream and massage oil to wrap it all up—leaving your feet feeling amazing and your whole body lighter.

If you’ve been feeling off or just need some extra care, this one’s for you.

Are you as OVER this gray, depressing “winter” as I am?

As a North Idaho native, the long winters don’t usually get me down. I love the beautiful, white snow.

I don’t like the endless gray skies, but I’ve learned to get outside to move my body and breathe in the fresh air through skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, even just walking the dog.

I mean, there’s no bad weather, just bad clothing, right???

But this “winter” is really throwing me. No snow down here, poor snow coverage for skiing for most of the season, and endless gray, gray, gray.

For the first time in maybe a decade, I think I have dealt with seasonal depression, so I have made an effort to hit the gym and upgrade my bodywork routine.

As I type though, the clouds have split and the sun is spilling in. It’s time to go worship the sun a bit with a crisp walk!

If the weather’s got you down, you have no energy, no drive and just feel blah, keep in mind that reflexology can be a great restart for the winter blues.

My space gives you an hour or so to really release any disappointment, fatigue, and the blues, and reflexology can help refill your cup, giving you better sleep, more energy, and a different outlook.

I just finished up a session and my client said,

“Katie, I don’t know if you realize this, but what you do has such a relaxing and interesting effect…I can feel my body completely relaxing and little tingles going up and down to different areas in my body as you work on my feet. It’s so wonderful.”

Those comments make me smile because they are not only a compliment, they also tell me that my work is really making a difference.

Reflexology basically works through the nerve endings. It unblocks areas where nerves aren’t functioning well, and helps them communicate better with the rest of the body.

It boosts the body’s own ability to rebalance and release tension, which in turn supports the healing process. Clients leave my studio rested, relaxed, and rebalanced.

It’s a safe place to just let your guard down and receive. I encourage you to book an appointment at www.sandpointreflexology.com and in the meantime, check out this link for some one-minute reflexology self-care.

I stopped at Costco the other day and ended up in a conversation with the woman behind me while unloading my cart. She said, “The further I get in life, the more I think life is just moving things from one place to another.”

Groceries. Laundry. Kids. Boxes. Always loading and unloading.
That comment has stuck with me, because it feels like such a metaphor. We spend so much time moving physical things… but what about the non-physical things?

Stress. Grief. Old injuries. Trauma. (If you’ve read The Body Keeps the Score, you know how deeply the body holds onto what we’ve been through.)

Reflexology is about helping your body move that “stuck” stuff. Your feet often reflect the tension, stress, and stored emotions you’re carrying. When we work those reflex points, it’s like helping your nervous system exhale — unblocking, releasing, and creating space for healing.

If you’re feeling weighed down and ready to unload some of what you’ve been carrying, I’d love to chat.

You can book at sandpointreflexology.com.

It's always amazing to hear how reflexology can have such lasting effects!

One of my clients was initially skeptical, but after just one session, they were blown away by the results!

Reflexology often surprises people with the long-lasting benefits, better sleep, reduced stress, and more balance in life.

I have taken several courses teaching how to use essential oils with reflexology on the foot reflexes.

One way to enhance the effects of reflexology is to apply personalized essential oils to specific reflexes.

👉For example, if a client comes in with chronic knee pain, I apply a specific essential oil blend to the knee/leg reflex and work that reflex a few times during the session.

It tends to amplify the release of tension and inflammation, providing the client with relief from pain for several hours to several days!

If you’ve tried “everything” and still feel stuck in cycles of pain, tension or grief, you’re not alone.

So many of the women who come to me are worn down, foggy, or just plain tired.

Maybe you feel depleted or struggle with constant brain fog.

You don’t want to take pharmaceuticals endlessly or live with chronic pain, and you know you need care that works with the body, not against it.

That’s where reflexology comes in.

Book a session now to experience the difference.

When chronic hand pain begins to change how you move through your day; how you mother, how you work, how you worship, it’s not just frustrating. It’s deeply discouraging.

If carpal tunnel has been stealing your comfort or making everyday tasks feel impossible, you don’t have to push through alone.

This 4-week support package is designed to meet you right where you are with gentle, focused care for both hands and feet through reflexology, an exercise routine that supports healing without strain, and simple tools to strengthen and stretch safely at home.

But more than that, it’s consistent, compassionate follow-up. You’re not just coming in for a session, you’re entering into care. We will take time to discuss your concerns and find the treatment approach thats right for your unique situation.

If this sounds like the kind of help your body has been asking for, message me and we’ll talk through whether it’s the right next step.

Your feet carry emotional baggage.

Not just physical exhaustion, but the buildup of stress, grief, anxiety, stored and speaking through tension and tenderness.

Most people don’t realize how much their feet are trying to tell them.

As a certified reflexologist, I’m here to tell you that your feet hold signs of stress, emotional overload, or a nervous system that’s been stuck in overdrive.

I see it all the time during my reflexology sessions.

Here are 3 things your feet might be trying to tell you (and why it matters).

We all carry heartache sometimes.

Whether it’s grief, anxiety, disappointment, or just the sheer weight of being a mom and holding everything for everyone…

It’s no surprise that the heart reflex point often feels tender.

Located under the ball of the foot on the left side (and moving into the right side), this reflex helps support circulation, yes, but also emotional release.

When I work this area in prayer, I ask God to meet me in the heaviness.

To trade sorrow for peace.

To soften the hard places.

That’s the beauty of reflexology: it creates space to reflect on what we’re holding and gently release it to God.

If your heart’s been heavy lately, this may be a good place to start.

Over the holidays, I was able to step away from work and it was such a gift. I stayed home with the kids, soaked up the slower days, leaned into all the cozy seasonal rhythms, and it was deeply needed rest.

I’ll admit, I felt a little tug of sadness when the tree came down and the house grew quiet again.

Now we’re easing back into our regular routine, and I can feel it in my body. The good kind of tired that comes from joyful days, but tired all the same. We’re back to meal planning, early mornings, daily walks, simple food, and sneaking moments in the day for water, coffee, and quiet time.

I’m curious what daily habits help you feel grounded and well. The small, steady things you return to when life gets full again.

If regular bodywork isn’t part of your routine yet, this is a reminder to consider it moving into the new year. Reflexology is one of my favorite ways to support the body, release tension, and restore balance as we move back into our everyday rhythms.

If your body could use some care right now, I’d love to support you. You can book an appointment anytime and give yourself a moment to rest, reset, and be cared for.
