✨Instructor Spotlight: Arleen Erland ✨

Arleen is a 25-year, diversely trained, trauma-focused clinician with extensive experience working with various clinical presentations. She is licensed in eight states, and while relocating to one of them, she fell in love with Sandpoint after her first unsuspecting visit to Evan’s Brother’s for a quick coffee. Sandpoint is now home, and she loves it here!

Arleen is a clinician who believes that a good practitioner is one who has been on their own healing journey. A practitioner cannot fully show the way to a place they have not yet been themselves.

She recently experienced and began to understand the power of incorporating somatic breathwork and specifically nervous system healing practices when working with, not only individuals who have experienced their definition of trauma, but also have accumulated stressors, unprocessed emotions and even limiting beliefs that they are not aware of.

Arleen is a certified HeartMath practitioner who understands and incorporates heart coherence and teaches heart rate variably training as part of healing the central nervous system that controls over 90% of our bodily functions.

Why does she do this work? To heal connection. First, we must connect to ourselves so that we can fully connect to others and create space within so that we can fully experience this life.

Two ways to join Arleen for Somatic Breathwork:
📍In person on Friday March 13 at 6pm
💻 Online via Zoom on Saturday March 21 at 10am

Sometimes we can’t fully put our experiences into words — yet our bodies still carry them. And while talking helps, it doesn’t always release what’s been stored inside. 🌀

Breathwork works directly with the nervous system, helping the body release stored tension in a natural, supportive way. There’s no need to analyze or explain — it simply allows your system to soften, rebalance, and feel safe again. 💛

Are you feeling depleted or overwhelmed?

This month's Women's Wellness Circle offers a supportive place to refill your cup. You'll gather tools and resources to make small, consistent, and sustainable changes in your life. 🌀

While each class can be attended on its own, ongoing support is powerful, and will help your new habits stick. 🌱

Each gathering includes a grounding practice, check-in, and guided discussion.

We'll explore themes like nourishment, movement, rest, relationships, creativity, and mindfulness, and create small, doable action steps to bring or deepen self-care in your life in a way that fits in your unique life situation. 💛

You may already know in your heart a few of those steps. Others may bubble up with time and space to tend to ourselves and each other. Together, we’ll cultivate balance, presence, and sustainable well-being. And we'll even have some fun along the way!

✨Join us at The Yellow Room for a special evening with Madelaine Parker for an open, accessible conversation on why astrology feels especially relevant in these times.

This gathering is less about technical details and more about meaning—why people are turning to astrology right now, how it can offer perspective during change and uncertainty, and the ways it helps us reflect, connect, and make sense of our experiences.

Madelaine may share a few current astrological themes and invite light, optional participation from attendees who are curious about their own charts.

No prior knowledge needed—just curiosity and an open mind.

What we can’t speak, the body remembers. And what the body holds, no amount of talking can release on its own.

That realization changes the conversation.

Breathwork offers something talk therapy alone can not — a direct, embodied way to access the nervous system, release stored tension, and allow the body to complete what was never finished. It bypasses the need to explain or analyze and instead invites the body to do what it already knows how to do: restore balance, safety, and connection. That’s why Arleen now offers breathwork— not as a replacement for insight, but as a powerful complement to it. This type of work meets you beyond words, helping your system soften, release, and reconnect in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and compassionate; often for the first time.

This class is a virtual class that takes place over zoom. You will be lying down with your eyes closed in your own space. Minimal obstructions such as extra blankets and pillows are encouraged.

Limited food 2 hours prior, bring a journal if you would like to, and hydrate before the event.

Join us this Friday for a cherished sanctuary where all are welcomed to honor the diverse rhythms of our lives. It's a haven for singing, sharing journeys, and embracing hope.

Here, we cradle each other's aspirations and dreams within our hearts. We unite to commemorate every milestone, sorrow, and newfound understanding. This sacred space fosters a sisterhood, a community where women feel free to embrace their true selves and bask in the warmth of unconditional love and acceptance.

Girls and women of all ages are welcome, with babes in arms and boys up to 7 years old embraced as part of our sacred gathering.

Facilitator: Laura Clemmons - Clinical Functional Herbalist. Although Laura holds the space. This gathering is co-created by us all. As someone who has been holding Red Tent spaces and women’s ceremonial circles since 2002, Laura brings over two decades of experience in creating safe, sacred environments for deep connection and transformation. She has studied shamanic journeying and earth-centered healing with gifted teachers such as Chris Davidson through Ancientways Shamanic Training and Healing, Claudia Rosewolf, Miss Beatrice Waight-Torres, and Ann Drucker, among others. Alongside these teachings, she's apprenticed with numerous healers over the years, gaining wisdom, guidance, and the tools to hold space for healing, celebration, and shared sisterhood. With this lineage of learning and practice, Laura offers the Red Tent as a sacred container where women can connect with their innermost selves and the collective wisdom of the circle. Together, we honor the rhythms of womanhood and life in all their beauty and complexity.
