Calling all Jr. Gardeners!
🌱 Seedlings to Stewards is Back!🌱

Join us for our children’s gardening club where kids can dig in, get dirty, and grow something amazing!
📅 Wednesdays | 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
April 8, May 6, June 10, July 8, August 5, September 9.

Our young gardeners will learn all about:

🌼 Starting seeds indoors
🌿 Mound gardening
🐞 Natural pest prevention
🌱 Soil health & composting
💧 The water cycle and how it supports our garden
🥕 When and how to harvest
🍂 Putting the garden to bed for the season

Between meeting dates, participants are welcome to stop by and spend time in the garden whenever it works for them!

This is a hands-on, come-and-go experience designed to help kids connect with nature, build confidence, and grow their own food. 🌻

United Way of Erie County, with its community partners, is excited to launch a FREE Financial Empowerment Workshop Series designed to help individuals and families strengthen their financial stability and plan for the future.

These workshops will cover practical topics like:
• Budgeting and managing debt
• Understanding credit and building a saver’s mindset
• Introduction to investing

Whether you are trying to get ahead, rebuild your credit, or simply learn tools to better manage your money, these sessions are designed to provide real, practical guidance for everyday life.

Participants who attend workshops may also be eligible to unlock United Way Safety Net funds to help cover unexpected expenses and support access to a checking account while funds are available. This support is meant to help individuals and families move from financial stress toward long-term financial stability.

Workshops will take place in Sandusky and Norwalk, and registration is simple through the QR code on the flyer.

We encourage anyone interested to register early.

At United Way, we believe financial stability begins with knowledge, opportunity, and partnership, and we are proud to bring these resources to our community alongside our partners.
