Pauline Clara (Russell) Druckenmiller, 98, of Sandusky, passed away and into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Pauline taught elementary school for many years in both the Sandusky City Schools and in Perkins School district.
With her husband, Donald, she enjoyed travel throughout the United States and many parts of Europe. They hosted a series of exchange students over the years, some of whom they stayed in touch with throughout their lives.

F. W. “Toney” Zahel, 98, of Castalia passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, one month after his 98th birthday.
His love for jazz music allowed him and Kitty to perform with several jazz bands in Indiana and in this area until the mid-1970’s. Toney played bass and trombone, and Kitty was remembered for her stage presence and wonderful voice as lead vocalist.

David’s greatest passion was singing. He spent many years performing with the Akron Symphony Chorus, the Canton Symphony Chorus, the Greater Canton Men’s Chorus, and Gospel Meets Symphony, Akron. He also sang in church choirs wherever he lived, sharing his gift of music for more than 60 years.
