In honor of Black History Month, our amazing Dining Services team served up a delicious Soul Food meal featuring fried chicken, sweet potatoes, cornbread, and more!

With 40 pounds of green beans prepped with the help of our wonderful residents, this meal was truly a team effort. ❤️

Moments like these remind us that great food brings people together — and when we work side by side, we create something truly special. Thank you to everyone who helped make this fantastic meal possible!

Today’s forecast: 100% chance of snowball sass ❄️😂

We hosted a “friendly” snowball toss with our residents… and let’s just say some of us discovered hidden athletic talent (and some discovered we should probably stick to cheering).

No staff were harmed… but a few egos might need ice packs.

Best part? The laughter was warmer than the snow 💙☃️

⛷️🎉 We’re getting into the Olympic spirit! 🎉⛷️

These adorable little skiers were handmade using toilet paper tubes, tongue depressors, Styrofoam balls, and orange sticks — then filled with 20 pennies to give them some extra weight.

Each skier was outfitted a little differently, such as having pennies placed either in front of the skis or on the back. Residents picked their favorites to earn points, and the skier with the highest score slid straight to victory! 🏆❄️
