As some of you may know, last month my father died suddenly. Despite us being estranged for a decade, I spent his final week of life in Florida at his bedside in ICU, and I held his hand as his heart slowly stopped and he took his final breath. I am so grateful we were able to make peace before he died.
Though I was already sick with grief, upon returning home my kids and myself all came down with RSV, the flu and sinus infections. So we were all quarantined at home for about two weeks.
Needles to say, I missed a LOT of work in March.
So now, to help make up for the lack of income last month, I am having this Jewelry Fundraiser Special, featuring a beautiful White Flower with a Blue Opal.
This piece is extremely special to me.
I ordered myself one randomly last year for my helix because I thought it was pretty. Its what I was wearing when I went to Florida. As we sat there after my dad died, I realized I was going to miss the funeral because I was flying home in a matter of hours. Without a real thought, I took my earring out and secured it to his cross necklace. I asked that he be buried with it, since I wouldn't be around to lay a flower on his grave. When I got home, I ordered myself another and it's now become one of my most precious pieces of jewelry.
People keep asking how I am and if there is anything they can do for me. Well this is it. I'm not okay and I don't want to lose my studio because I chose to say goodbye to my father.
This flower piece can be ordered in a labret flat back, a barbell or a curved barbell, in either an 18g or 16g. It can be worn in a variety of locations on the body. This is NOT a piercing special. This is strictly a jewelry special for this specific flower piece.
