After an interesting and challenging 2025, we have all made it to the end of this year, and enter into a new one! The zodiac sign of Capricorn guides us into the New Year, and in true Capricornian fashion and form, this sign emphasizes practicality and goal setting.
With Mercury also starting to enter into this sign—this focus and planning is supported fully, so that these to-do lists can be checked off with success—instead of leaving those boxes empty, like they may have been left a month before.
The first Full Moon of the year (Jan 3) in Cancer highlights emotional releases and family themes—maybe something illuminated by its glow during the holiday gatherings? The moon in this sensitive water sign also asks us, Where can we honor our authentic selves and our boundaries, as we seek the truth in all of our relationships?
While the full moon manifests, the opposite intuits within. The New Moon is in Capricorn (on January 18th), offering clarification and possibly some fresh intentions with the goals we may have set for the New Year ahead.
In other news, Neptune is finally leaving Pisces for its new home in Aries for the next 14 years—awakening spiritual creativity, bold dreams and inspired self-expression. Neptune meets up—at 0° degrees Aries—with Saturn in February. And an auspicious astro forecast it is, as this is an aspect that has not been seen for thousands of years, and is sure to bring a refreshing change of tone for years and years of time to come. Structure and disciplines as flint and tinder, meet the sparks of visions and dreams aflame.
