We are so grateful for the many young volunteers who share their time and talents with the Brooke Grove community.

Recently, students from Washington Christian Academy brought beautiful live music to our Rehabilitation Center, lifting spirits and creating meaningful moments for our guests.

We’re also proud to welcome back Young Musicians Inspiring Change (YMIC), a dedicated group of student musicians who have been performing at Brooke Grove for years. Since 2010, their mission has been simple and powerful: use music to inspire positive change in their communities.

From classical pieces to heartfelt performances, these young musicians remind us that volunteering has no age limit, just a willingness to connect and give back.

🧶💛 Made with love, shared with purpose.

This year, our incredible Knit & Crochet Club in the Nursing Center reached a record-breaking milestone, creating 122 handmade blankets to be donated to Comfort Cases.

Each blanket is more than just something warm. It’s a symbol of care, comfort, and compassion for children receiving them in their new backpacks.

Last year, 88 blankets were made. This year, our residents and volunteers came together to go even further, wrapping each piece in love and intention.

As Barbara Hackett, Director of Volunteer Services, shared:
“We are so excited to provide the children with blankets made with love and blessings…”

And of course, a special shoutout to Mara—and Wendy 🐶—for helping spread the joy, one blanket at a time.
