November marks Children's Grief Awareness Month, highlighting the growing number of children and adolescents facing bereavement. At The Link Counseling Center, we have been providing Children and Adolescent Grief Support Groups for over 30 years. These groups offer a community where young individuals can share their experiences, find encouragement, and reduce feelings of isolation during their healing journey. The sessions are held weekly at The Link's House Next Door in Sandy Springs, GA, and are offered free of charge. For more information, please reach out to us at 404-256-9797. In times of conflict, isolation, or tension, families can benefit greatly from counseling. This therapeutic approach creates a safe environment for families to share their stories, heal, and explore solutions. By identifying strengths within the family unit, therapy fosters growth and collaboration.

For those whose lives have been impacted by a loss from suicide, you are invited to attend the Survivors of Suicide (SOS) group. This group meets 3 times a month at The Link Counseling Center in Sandy Springs, GA.

This group meets this evening (10/28) at 7:15pm on the 2nd floor of The Link Counseling Center's "House Next Door" (348 Mt. Vernon Hwy, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328).

It is recommended that you schedule a pro bono grief consultation before your first support group visit, but it is not necessary. To schedule your grief consultation call The Link's office 404-256-9797.
