Meet JoAnna Hausler, RBT!
“I enjoy working for GBA because of the flexibility and the support I receive to do something I love.
This is something I did in the past and went to college to major in early childhood education with an interest in special education. I was away from the workforce for sometime to raise my children and knew I wanted to get back into this field of work.
My favorite part of the job is watching the kids grow and learn. When they learn a new skill we all get excited about how great they are doing.
I sew blankets, memory pillows, and many other things in my free time.”

Meet Saxsanie Kirkland, RBT!
“I enjoy working for GBA because it allows me to exercise my passion of working with kids and helping them grow and advocate for themselves. I have had a deep passion, patience and understanding of working with children since I was twelve years old and able to babysit the little girls next door to me. I somehow with that passion was blessed with the true patience to be able to give children that need just a little extra love the strategies, support, and success they need to be successful. I love doing this type of work because it keeps me for a lack of better words young, in tune with the latest trends, TV shows, cartoons, as well as it keeps me on my toes and is never boring. This allows me to relate to children on their levels and in their worlds. I love watching when a child has a light bulb moment and something just clicks in them when they have accomplished that strategy, work or whatever struggle they've been struggling with and they finally figure it out and they feel good about themselves. Knowing that I was a part of bringing that out of a child is its own reward in so many ways. When I'm not working I spend my time reading, watching football and being the best football mom I can to my two boys who also along with my work keep me on my toes.”

Meet Latrever Ugwu, BCBA!
“GBA is the first company I’ve worked with in the field of ABA where it truly feels like everyone is working together for the benefit of the client. Every interaction I’ve had—with supervisors, colleagues, and support staff—has been marked by professionalism and kindness. For the first time, I feel genuinely supported as a provider across all levels of the organization.
Before entering ABA, I spent several years working in a special education classroom. That experience deepened my desire to support children with Autism in ways that could meaningfully improve their quality of life. ABA offered a path to do just that.
The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing real change in my clients. Whether it’s gaining a new skill or reducing a challenging behavior, these moments allow families to enjoy each other more fully—and that’s incredibly powerful.
Fun Fact About Me: I’m a proud mom of three: 17-year-old twins and a 14-year-old. They keep life busy, joyful, and always interesting!”

“I love making a difference in the lives of the clients I serve. The company culture is collaborative and pleasant. Everyone I work with is committed to the success of our clients.
Reason for joining this field: My Godbrother has level 3 autism. Having the pleasure of growing up with him and seeing all of the progress he made, made me interested in the field. I started as a behavior technician right out of college and never looked back.
My favorite part of the job is: Working with my RBTs to promote client success.
Fun fact about me: My husband and I are avid foodies and very active. We will try anything new and go on a 6 mile walk right after. ”
