Jessica, a Patient Safety Attendant, responded quickly and calmly when a patient she was monitoring had a seizure and tried to get out of bed. She safely supported and lowered the patient to the floor while alerting the nursing staff. Her quick thinking and composure prevented potential injury and ensured the patient’s safety. By putting patient safety first in a moment of crisis, Jessica embodies TouchPoint's compassionate culture and the core values of the humanKIND Award.
