We've finally had a moment to reflect on our ribbon cutting this week—and are feeling incredibly grateful.
We were surrounded by so many people who showed up to support us as we officially launched CareBuilders at Home - Salt Lake after a several months in business.
• Family & friends – Our son Greg and his fiancé Sophia, our parents, siblings, extended family, and close friends. Your support means everything.
• A special shoutout to Nicole Sterzer for capturing the day so beautifully with her photography.
• Friends old and new – including great friends from 3M, neighbors, and new connections we’re excited to build with.
• Amazing sponsors who helped make the event special:
– Raffle contributors: Pearson Butler, Kneaders Bakery and Cafe, Costa Vida - Draper, UT, Sole Serenity Foot Zoning, and Bath & Body Works
– Kokonut Hawaiian BBQ for the fantastic Hawaiian food (with a West Jordan location opening soon—definitely worth checking out!)
• Utah Safety Council, our incredible landlords—not only for the space, but for going above and beyond to help coordinate food and setup. We couldn’t have asked for better partners.
• City leadership – Sandy Mayor Monica Zoltanski , Cyndi Sharkey Sandy City Council At-Large and Sandy City Business Development members for their support. Mayor Zoltanski especially went the extra mile—staying to connect with attendees and even helping call raffle winners. That kind of genuine engagement means a lot to a new business.
• South Valley Chamber including Jay Francis, President/CEO, along with chamber members and ambassadors, for showing up strong and helping make the event a success. Their organization works with Sandy City to schedule this and supplies the crucial scissors and ribbon.
• And Mary Walter from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society—we’re excited about opportunities to partner with this wonderful organization moving forward.
All in all, it was a great event filled with great people—many of whom are genuinely invested in helping a new local business succeed.
We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to be part of such a supportive community.
