With continued supporters like our friends at Dear Trinity LLC it is easy for Bragg Street Academy to offer senior initiatives much like the college trip our Seniors went on earlier this month. Dear Trinity is an organization of highly trained and certified professionals that provide emotional and physical support throughout pregnancy, birthing and beyond. These professionals know the importance of continued support.

It's been a month since graduation, and it still feels unreal. Our doula sister Shantè (UNC-G) and Founder doula Jessica (NC A&T) both graduated from their respective programs! Their optimism and dedication to reach their goals played a huge role in their accomplishments, and we could be more proud! Change agents in Public Health and Human Lactation loading... 🥳🥳

Today was heavy for a lot of us but attending the 34th Annual Art of Breastfeeding Conference really helped get me through. A room full of accomplished and skilled OTs, PTs, IBCLCs, and other human milk advocates sharing resources and innovations in lactation was thought-provoking for sure. There is soooo much going through my mind about the things I want to do in my community to help people feel seen and supported to reach their lactation goals!!

What's sweeter, is I got to see some of the beauties who have already graduated the Human Lactation Pathway II Program! Cohorts 3, 4, & 5 (me) representing and looking goodt while doing it, ok!? The program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is producing the highest numbers of Black and Brown IBCLCs who are also powerhouses in the field of lactation! I'm glad to be walking the path they've worked so hard to build❤️

Happy Friday everyone; especially to our EP (exclusively pumping) friends who are returning back to work and doing all the things to maintain their milk volume while away from their babies! We love yall and know it's hard work but you can do this, you are doing this. Picture mail from one of our fav PP mamas gives all the feels!!! 🤗🤗🤗 Your joy gives us joy, so proud of you, little angel face , and dad for all the things!

My name is Jhadeci and I live in Jacksonville, NC. I'm a graduate of THE Hampton University (Go Pirates) with a Bachelors degree in Biology. I'm currently working as a 3rd grade teacher and a birth doula (in person or virtual!). I have a puppy named Blu, and I love to read! I got into birth work from seeing the women around me have pregnancies or birthing stories that didn't have to be as hard on them as they were. I'm passionate about birth work and about doula services being available to all birthing people!

Hey folks, my name is Shantè! I am a wife and a mom who loves being with my family! I really enjoy hiking and sewing as well! I am passionate about maternal health and breastfeeding. I look forward to continuing to help moms achieve the birth they deserve and desire! I have an Associates Degree in medical laboratory technology (2012) from Sandhills Community College and will be graduating in May 2025 with my Bachelors in Public Health from UNC-Greensboro (Go Spartans!!)

It's been quite some time since we did some introductions on here so we thought it'd be nice to get to know some faces here at Dear Trinity. Meet Gabrielle, affectionately known by us as Gabby. She is a native of Providence, RI and was born in 1987. She graduated from graduated Western Harnett HS (c/o 2006 GO EAGLES!!!), where she was a member of DECA, HOSA, Choral Ensemble, and Gospel Choir. She gained her Associate Degree in Medical Office Administration (c/o 2018). Her hobbies include: reading, writing, nature, music and singing. Favorite Quote is “First, love yourself”.
