Let’s talk about one of our most requested treatments, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) 👇

💡 What it is:
IPL is a light-based treatment that targets pigment and redness in the skin. It uses broad-spectrum light to break down unwanted discoloration while stimulating collagen over time.

🎯 What it treats:
• Sun damage + dark spots
• Hyperpigmentation
• Redness + rosacea
• Broken capillaries
• Uneven skin tone
• Acne-related discoloration

👩‍⚕️ Who it’s for:
IPL is best for clients with lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III) who struggle with pigmentation, redness, or overall dullness. It’s perfect if you want clearer, more even skin without aggressive downtime.

⏳ What to expect during recovery:
• Minimal downtime (this is a big one 👏)
• Mild redness for 24–48 hours (like a light sunburn)

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and dissolve your lip filler. This is a TOTAL handholding kind of situation, takes months, and you will need to balance features you may have missed before (the chin in this case).

After 8 years of watching these products go through their natural process of pulling water and breaking down over time, I’ve developed some preferences.

✅ hydrophilic fillers pull a TON of water
👉🏻 meaning you can have puffiness BEYOND where it was injected

✅ too many vertical struts through the boarder of the lip aren’t great long-term
👉🏻 make the border look very defined at first, more more likely to expand above that line and look migrated

✅ sessions should be 1 month MINIMUM, ideally 2 months between sessions when building
👉🏻 overfilling is absolutely possible when you haven’t given the filler enough time to settle and hydrate to actually see what you’re working with before adding more

Morpheus 🤝 subtle cheek filler

When I approach a face, I always ask… do I want to take away or do I want to add?? Sometimes, the answer is both.

✅ take away in the areas that have enlarged (studies show the fat pads around our jowl and fold by our nose actually get larger and fall down as we age)
👉🏻 Morpheus to decrease facial fullness in areas we want slimmed

✅ add where we have lost volume and structure
👉🏻 Structural filler in the deep cheek

✅ bring the lip out that was turning inward (a totally expect age related change)
👉🏻lip filler

The result? A shifted light reflex. The light hits her face in a more youthful way, highlighting the jawline, lips and cheek. We aren’t lifting like a surgical facelift, but we are camouflaging like semipermanent makeup.

Our Story

I started Elite Esthetics Facial Spa with my Licensed Medical Aesthetician Degree in a small salon suite in Heathrow 4 years ago. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University as a Physician Assistant with my MMS degree in September 2017, and expanded from my small suite rental at Porte Noire in Heathrow, to a 2,170 square foot 2 floor facility in Sanford. I changed the name from Elite Esthetics Facial Spa to Fountain of Youth Medical Spa and have grown my service menu to be more diverse and comprehensive. Where most aesthetic services are one dimensional, whether they are either corrective or therapeutic, we believe in providing luxurious spa experiences in combination with truly corrective results.

I am Karli Plunkett, the owner, PA-C aesthetic injector, hormone specialist, and LME skincare specialist. I offer services that range from relaxing skincare treatments, to medium-depth chemical peels, as well as injection procedures like Neurotoxin (Botox, Xeomin) and Dermal Fillers (Juvederm, Radiesse, and Belotero). I have become very passionate about helping my patients achieve their health goals, optimize their hormones, and improve their quality of life.

Fountain of Youth Medical and Wellness Spa is a satellite office of Celestino Santi D.O., and he offers a multitude of services including INVITRIX Stem Cell Therapies for a multitude of health concerns including joint regeneration.
