Head Cook
Full Time ~ 11am-7:30pm
We are seeking a head cook who is compassionate, organized, customer focused and enthusiastic. The position provides direction to the kitchen personnel consisting of two cooks and four to five dietary aides. The position reports directly to and works closely with the Food Service Director to ensure that goals of the department are met. The head cook prepares menu items using standardized recipes and is responsible to ensure that all meals, including all those with dietary restrictions are prepared according to the menu and nutritional guidelines provided by the Registered Dietician.
Additional duties are record keeping, keeping the kitchen clean & receiving deliveries. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evening & some weekend shifts.
ServSafe certified required
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs several times a day.
