💙 It’s not too late to help protect babies and young children from RSV. If your baby is 7 months or younger, contact a health care provider to schedule an immunization before April 30. RSV can make infants very sick and is the top reason babies are sent to the hospital. Immunization is safe, effective, and can protect most babies from going to the hospital because of RSV. Talk to a provider to learn what’s right for your child.

As temperatures rise, rattlesnakes are more active and have been showing up in trails and neighborhoods.
Keep these quick safety tips in mind:
• Stick to marked trails and avoid tall grass, brush, or rocky areas
• Watch where you step or place your hands—snakes hide under logs, rocks, or in underbrush
• Keep pets leashed and close
• Give rattlesnakes space—if you hear or see one, back away slowly and let it move on its own
• If bitten, call 911 immediately, keep the affected limb low while waiting for help
Rattlesnakes are part of our local ecosystem- and staying aware keeps everyone safe. Enjoy Orange County’s great outdoors—safely!

TB is preventable and curable. Early testing and treatment, especially for latent TB infection (LTBI), can reduce the risk of active disease by up to 90%.

Know the difference:
• LTBI: no symptoms, not contagious
• Active TB: symptoms like chronic cough, fever, night sweats, weight loss—and can spread to others

If you’re at higher risk, talk to your provider about testing. Prevention starts with awareness.
