Summer is coming, it's almost here....what do you wish you could do THIS summer? Something You've wanted to do for years, but never quite got around to....write for just 5 minutes about what is keeping you from doing IT This year?

This candy box was a surprise gift to my best friend during a weekend when we went away ....... many months ago. What reminds you of the 'good old days' when you had an allowance you could spend on candy? I don't remember buying candy as a child, to tell the truth.

Maybe my childhood friend Christy, who I recently reconnected with, will remember. I Do fondly recall buying a donut from the Weber's Bakery van that drove around our neighborhood. The man would pull out a big rack and we could point to the one we wanted. I think I usually chose regular glazed!

What is one childhood summer memory that you can promise yourself to re - live in the coming months, with the Spirit of your child?

A favorite food like gobbling fresh watermelon with juice dribbling down your chin .... or staying in pajamas the entire day and wearing them outside to play .... or watching cartoons as long as you want .... or playing with your best friend for 3 days in a row or ..... whatever it is that makes you smile really huge when you think of it !

The word Framily is being used by Sprint to market multiple phone lines. I've heard people say they have a 'Family of Choice' over the years to mean the people they have chosen to be their inner circle of Loved Ones......Recently I have been pondering the inter-generational nature of some people I dearly care for, who are my children's ages, but not biologically related to me in any way.

Why do I feel so attached to THESE particular younger people? Is it their parents who are my friends? Is it their relationship to My kids? Is it their personality and how it's like mine? Sure, but it's not all my close friend's grown kids, or all my own children's close friends. it's a strange phenomena....

Who do you feel a special connection with, who you have no blood ties to? I'm not really talking about 'friends' here....It's that Special Category of Framily or ?? Maybe "Kin" works, I don't know. It's the Village People in our lives. I had very few as a child and young person. And I surely needed some to help me, but none appeared.

Are yours older or younger? Or both? Most of mine are younger.
What is it about them that draws you to their heart? Do they know that they are important to you? Might you consider telling them......I think I will take some risks and do that...

I've been thinking and reading about truth-telling and lying. Seems a basic premise is to ALWAYS TELL Yourself the TRUTH......yet we are so scared to know, what we know......
Try these writing ideas. And yes, they all ask the same thing with slightly different phrasing - so go with which one speaks to you, or try two...

What am I afraid to know ?
What am I hiding ?
What do I almost know ?
What knowledge am I avoiding ?

For me.....it came down to accepting limits and grieving them.......quite deeply....
