We are a locally owned pharmacy and locally loved retail pharmacy that is committed to our community and patients. Specific Pharmacy Technician Skills:

1. Possess a valid CA pharmacy technician license in good standing.

2. Accurately type, fill and prepare medications ready for pharmacist verification.

3. Be able to be trained on the pharmacy software, insurance plan processing

4. Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

5. Provide excellent phone answering skills

6. Must be willing to be trained, and to train people.

7. 1-2 years of experience preferred.

8. Spanish is a plus

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Safe driving and operation of delivery vehicle to deliver/pick up prescriptions to patient’s home or place of business.
Plans delivery route to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day.
Coordinates paperwork and payment with the staff and patients
Returns to the pharmacy with proper co-pays and delivery signatures.
Handles routine maintenance on delivery vehicle.
Checks accuracy and stability of the load.
Ensures compliance with the industry and company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Personal vehicle with valid registration, insurance, and clean car title
Ability to plan, organize, and change priorities
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Effectively communication in both written and verbal form at all levels of the organization
Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to reach, lift,stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 40 lbs.
Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred

Physical Environment
Patient homes or residential care facilities
Regularly required to stand for periods of time, kneel as necessary to clean and repair equipment

Compensation
$12 per hour salary
Additional Mileage Compensation, $0.53 per mile
