The holidays can bring up more than we expect—family dynamics, grief or absence, and the pressure to do it all just right.

If this season feels heavy, consider pausing to ask yourself:
• What feels most tender for me right now?
• What boundaries would support me this season?
• What does honoring my grief (or fatigue) look like this year?
• Where can I choose presence over perfection?
• Who or what helps me feel restored rather than depleted?

You don’t have to do the holidays the “right” way—only the way that is kindest to your heart.
Support, slowing down, and asking for what you need are all valid parts of care. ❤️

We’re excited to introduce Daniel Long, one of our new graduate student therapists!

Daniel believes the journey of healing and wholeness begins with being seen and known for who you truly are. He creates a compassionate, curious, and collaborative environment where clients can explore their stories without judgment.

With a psychodynamic perspective, Daniel helps clients understand how early experiences shape present relationships and ways of engaging with the world. He walks with clients through grief, pain, and disorientation with gentleness, patience, and honesty, always keeping focus on what matters most in the deepest parts of who they are.

For those who desire spiritual integration, Daniel is passionate about exploring how life with God intersects with personal growth. With over 20 years of ministry leadership, including many years as a lead pastor, he offers a safe space for people of faith to process mystery, doubt, struggle, s*xuality, gender, and incongruence. He is especially drawn to working with those in Christian leadership as they navigate the unique complexities of their vocation.
