✨ Introducing Joseph! He is an MFT Intern completing his practicum at Norooz Clinic while pursuing his M.S. in Clinical Psychology at CSUF.

Joseph is a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and his own mental health journey during military service inspired him to pursue this path. That lived experience fuels his commitment to supporting others with empathy, understanding, and purpose. 💛

Outside of sessions, Joseph enjoys running, calisthenics, and unwinding with a good video game alongside the people he cares about. 🎮🏃‍♂️

✨ Hi, I'm Carly. Currently I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University.

My inspiration for becoming a therapist comes from a deep interest in understanding people’s stories and supporting them through life’s challenges. I’m passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space for clients to explore their experiences and grow.

While I have a strong interest in trauma-informed care, I’m excited to work with individuals from all backgrounds.💛

When I’m not in session, I enjoy spending time with my cat, reading, and getting outdoors. 🌿🐾

At Norooz Clinic Foundation, we’re working to meet that need. Since 2012, we’ve delivered more than 24,000 therapy sessions, served 4,700 clients, reached 35,000 community members, and trained 230 future therapists.

Meet Your Clinician 🌱

✨ Introducing Audrienne! She joins us as an MFT Clinical Intern, currently pursuing her M.S. in Clinical Psychology at CSU Fullerton.

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own mental health journey and my mother’s battle with Huntington’s disease. Growing up across Chinese and American cultures, emotions were often left unspoken, those experiences taught me the healing power of being truly seen. I hope to hold that same space for others on their healing journeys. 💛

Outside of sessions, I enjoy crocheting, building LEGOs, and doing Paint By Numbers as a way to recharge and find balance. 🎨

The first step to breaking down mental health stigma is education.

That’s why our incredible undergraduate team at Norooz Clinic created a Su***de Prevention Toolkit — a year-round resource designed to inform individuals, schools, and organizations to take action, start conversations, and support mental wellness in their communities. Inside the toolkit, you’ll find plenty of resources, educational materials, and guidance on how to recognize warning signs, approach sensitive conversations, and connect people to professional help.

📝 Available in English, Farsi, Spanish, Mandarin, and Vietnamese (soon)!

Prevention is power, and it starts with awareness. With the right tools, we can work together and create a stigma-free world.

We’re excited to introduce another member of our clinical team! At Norooz Clinic Foundation, we’re proud to be a practicum training site for future therapists and psychologists, providing supervision and support as they grow in the field of mental health.

✨ Hello, my name is Rachel! I am an MFT Clinical Intern completing my practicum at Norooz Clinic while pursuing my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University.

Growing up in rural Oregon as a second-generation immigrant inspired me to help bridge mental health gaps in underserved communities. As a proud Latina, I’m passionate about expanding access to care for the Spanish-speaking community and helping people reconnect with themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. 💛

Outside of sessions, I love spending time outdoors or getting lost in a good book—sometimes both! 🌿📚
