Better Hearing & Speech Month was created in 1927 by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) to raise awareness of hearing loss and speech disorders. The goal of Better Hearing & Speech Month is to encourage people who believe they might be experiencing hearing or speech problems to take action.
