Dr. Behrman, Dr. Ruth, & Dr. Rives provide complete & comprehensive care of all disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow, arm, and shoulder serving Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez Valley, & the greater California Central Coast. Each of the three senior physicians at Associated Hand Surgeons is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has completed additional training in hand and micro-vascular surgery. Our professional staff is dedicated to helping you throughout the entire healing process, making every possible effort until your full recovery.

It is with great sadness that we have to inform our patients, friends and colleagues of the passing of Dr. Mark Montgomery. Dr. Montgomery and his daughter Caroline tragically perished in the horrific mudslides that rocked our community.

Dr. Montgomery joined Associated Hand Surgeons in 1995 and has been a dear friend and colleague since then. Mark will always be remembered for his warmth, compassion and professional demeanor. We at Associated Hand Surgeons are committed to honoring Dr. Montgomery by continuing to provide the highest quality compassionate care to both his patients and all others that need our services.

Dr. Montgomery is survived by his wife Catherine and other two children Kate and Duffy. He will be truly missed by all of us who had the fortune to know him. God bless.
