Oak Cottage of Santa Barbara Memory Care Emphasis is placed on respect for our residents, and acceptance of who they are today, as they continue their life journey.

Oak Cottage provides individualized residential care for seniors challenged with age-related cognitive impairment, specializing in Alzheimer's and dementia care. We create an atmosphere of caring and compassion for our residents through every stage of their memory loss. The community is broken up into three approachable intimate neighborhoods, and includes programming that focuses on quality of life, daily achievement, warmth and comfort.

The Oak Cottage is proud, grateful and thankful for such an amazing care provider Sara Garcia ✨ who goes above and beyond when it comes to caring for our residents and building great bonds with them and their loved ones and every one that is a part of our community.
Starting the 2026 new year, she has been AWARED and recognized as our first employee of the January month.

They celebrated a compassionate Valentine's Day, sharing love, and kindness with each other.

The vitality program that SBCC brings to our community is a great way for our residents to stay connected and engage at many levels
This is the ART TALK class with teacher Rachel , and today it was all about Vincent Van Gogh!!
Every session a different artist, from painters, singer, sculptures, dancers, actor, etc..
And of course our residents do have lots of knowledge to share!
