Oak Cottage of Santa Barbara Memory Care Oak Cottage of Santa Barbara is a senior living community in the Santa Barbara, CA area.

Oak Cottage provides individualized residential care for seniors challenged with age-related cognitive impairment, specializing in Alzheimer's and dementia care. Emphasis is placed on respect for our residents, and acceptance of who they are today, as they continue their life journey. We create an atmosphere of caring and compassion for our residents through every stage of their memory loss. The community is broken up into three approachable intimate neighborhoods, and includes programming that focuses on quality of life, daily achievement, warmth and comfort.

We celebrate the birthday of our residents on their actual birthday, but at the end of the month a general celebration takes place for all residents to enjoy.

Today we had our traditional family members and residents happy hour event!!
" IRISH SPRING"

But of course we celebrated Saint Patrick's Day on the 17, but today as every last Thursday of the month everyone had a great time celebrating IRISH SPRING!
Beautiful all Irish live singing and music, delicious Irish drinks and appetizers, not only that but the energy and beauty of everyone attending was PRICELESS!!
We love seeing our residents and family members connected at a very beautiful high level of happiness and enthusiasm, after all that's what the Oak Cottage of Santa Barbara is all about!!
