5 Steps to Heal Your Inner Child and Build Self-Trust

Your inner child is still within you, carrying the emotions, fears, and beliefs shaped by your past. Healing isn’t about changing what happened—it’s about changing how you carry it. The key? Self-trust.

Here are 5 steps to heal your inner child and build the trust they need:

1️⃣ Build Self-Trust
Healing begins when you become a trustworthy protector for yourself.
- Show up for yourself daily.
- Keep promises to yourself—big or small.
- Set boundaries that create emotional safety.
- Acknowledge your strength and resilience.

2️⃣ Recognize and Listen
Your inner child speaks through emotions and triggers. Instead of ignoring them, pause and ask:
- What is my inner child feeling right now?
- What does it need from me?

Your reactions are road signs—follow them to heal.

3️⃣ Acknowledge and Validate
Your pain is real. Your emotions are valid.
Many wounds come from feeling unheard, unseen, or unprotected.

Speak to your inner child with love:
- I see you. I hear you. You are safe now.
- Your feelings are valid. You are worthy of love.

4️⃣ Nurture and Reparent
Your inner child still longs for the love and protection they didn’t receive.
- Speak to yourself with kindness and encouragement.
- Prioritize self-care as a necessity, not a luxury.
- Embrace joy, creativity, and play.

You are no longer that child, but they still live within you. Nurturing them makes you whole.

5️⃣ Heal with Reiki and Energy Work
Energy healing helps release fear and restore emotional balance.
- Place your hands over your heart and breathe deeply.

“Shifting from Force into Flow ✨💫

Ever feel like you’re pushing so hard for something, but no matter what you do, it just won’t click? 🤯

Here’s the truth: Not everything is meant to be forced. Some doors don’t open because they aren’t yours to walk through.

🔹 Force feels exhausting, frustrating, and depleting.
🔹 Flow feels aligned, expansive, and energizing.

The key? Noticing when to shift. Instead of asking “How can I make this work?” try asking “Is this even the right path for me?”

✨ 5 Ways to Shift from Force into Flow:
1️⃣ Pause & Observe – Before reacting with force, step back and ask: Is this really the right path? Or am I just afraid to change?
2️⃣ Release Attachment – Let go of the idea that things must happen a certain way. Trust that if one door is locked, another will open.
3️⃣ Trust Flow Over Force – Pay attention to when things feel forced vs. aligned. The best paths often unfold with more ease.
4️⃣ Reframe Surrender as Strength – Surrender isn’t quitting; it’s choosing where to wisely invest your energy.

This morning, I locked myself out of the house. It was actually quite funny… What was supposed to be a simple routine—letting the cat outside—turned into two hours of struggle. I tried everything, convinced I could force my way back in. But nothing worked.

Finally, I stepped back, looked around, and found another door—already open, waiting for me to walk through.

And it hit me: how often do we do this in life? We fight, push, and resist, convinced that struggle means progress, instead of recognizing when another, easier path is already unfolding.

Not every obstacle means we should quit, but not every challenge is meant to be conquered either. The key is knowing when to push and when to pivot.
