☁ Reiki & Sound: Sound Bath Healing with Aromatherapy ☁
Sunday, Nov. 23 @ 4 pm
with Anahita Navab Holden & Mitsuko McGavock

We’ll begin by gently guiding you through Somatic Experiencing® exercises and EMDR resource-tapping, practices that help to ground and center you. As you relax into the space we will provide sound to the group, as well as hands-on Reiki and aromatherapy with essential oils to those who would like to receive it. Anahita will bring in the warm sound of her harp, voice, singing bowls, and the gentle tones of chimes and koshi bells. Mitsuko will envelop you in the powerful transpirational vibrations of her gongs, angelic chimes, soothing rain stick, and bowls, creating a deeply resonant soundscape that caresses the mind and embraces the body.

This event is an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with your inner calm. Let the soothing sounds and Reiki energy guide you to a place of peace and renewal, preparing you to face the world with fresh rejuvenated energy.

All levels welcome—just bring your curiosity.

💜 Somatic Release Breathwork 💜
Thursday, Nov. 20 @ 6:45 pm
With Regina Powers

Somatic Release Breathwork (SRB) utilizes “conscious connected breath” - an intentional breathing technique that involves a continuous and circular pattern of inhalation and exhalation without pauses between the two. We begin by lying down or finding a comfortable seated position to enhance relaxation. The emphasis is on deep, rhythmic breathing, where each inhalation flows seamlessly into the next exhalation. The aim of no pauses between breaths is to create a sense of flow and connection. Breathers are encouraged to maintain focus on their breath, allowing thoughts and emotions to surface naturally.

🖤 Embracing Death: Conversations in Community 🖤
Thursday, Nov. 20 @ 6:30 PM
with Daniel Polk

Join us for "Embracing Death," a thoughtfully facilitated conversation designed to explore what death can teach us about living. This is a welcoming container for community dialogue. Together, we will gently explore our personal and cultural relationships with mortality.

We will share space to reflect on the tender moments of love that grief so often illuminates, and consider what it means to approach the end of life with intention. This conversation is a reminder that death, like so many of life's significant passages, is a journey better navigated when we do it consciously and with the support of our loved ones.

This event is for anyone—the curious, the grieving, the planners, and those who simply wish to live more fully by making peace with life's final chapter. Your presence is the only requirement.

🪷 Sacred Senses Sound Bath Meditation 🪷
Sunday, Nov. 16 @ 4 pm
with Avatara Levine

Join Avatara for this musical sensory experience, while you rest in Savasana ushering you into deep meditation!

We begin with a brief science based meditation deep into the heart. This is where we will find a prayer and/or affirmation as your anchor, and to potentiate your experience. This meditation is great for those curious about adding something new to their practice that may create depth, and assist in healing & manifestation goals. The possibility of this meditative magic taking you to another planet is real! This may also reduce blood pressure, and allow stress to melt away so healing can occur as your chakra/nerve plexus system is immersed in sacred sound, light therapy, and medicinal aromatherapy. Throughout you will be bathed in balancing frequencies with large Gongs, Gem Infused 432Hz Crystal Singing Bowls, Tibetan Singing Bo

Our Story

Yoga Soup is a fluid, organic idea that is constantly re-shaping itself. As it grows it will no doubt assume different forms but it’s hard to imagine its intention much changing: to provide a safe, vibrant, serious and light-hearted space for self-observation and transformation to occur.
