Safety Matters Certified Training is an Authorized Provider of CPR & ECC courses for the American Heart Association and American Health & Safety Institute. We also provide OSHA Awareness Safety Training including Fire Safety and Forklift training. We bring classes to your workplace when you need them allowing you to schedule classes when it fits into your busy work schedules.

Bystander CPR improves survival.
The location of Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests (OHCA) most often occurs in homes/residences (73.4%), followed by public settings (16.3%), and nursing homes (10.3%).

If performed immediately, CPR can double or triple the chance of survival from an out of hospital cardiac arrest.

International Overdose Awareness Day. In 2021, provisional data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention yielded an estimate of 107,622 drug overdose deaths in the United States, an increase of 15 per cent from 2020. Two-thirds of these deaths involved synthetic opioids, primarily fentanyl.
The United States reported an age-adjusted mortality of 216 per 1 million people for the 15–64-year age bracket for 2019.
