Dominique has had a lifelong passion for giving back. She often jokes that it began in high school, when she started donating blood for the perk of getting out of class. After learning from the American Red Cross that a single pint of blood can help save up to three lives, the experience became a powerful turning point.

What started as a lighthearted decision grew into a lasting commitment to helping others and ultimately led her to become a certified phlebotomist.

We are filled with gratitude to celebrate our director of Foundation — Lailan McGrath for being a part of Pacific Coast Business Times Who's Who in Nonprofits & Foundations.

Each year, the VNA Health Foundation gives over $2.3M in subsidized charitable care. The funds we raise support services for residents in need of home health, home hospice, inpatient care at Serenity House, bereavement care, music services, pet therapy, and free durable medical equipment loans through the Loan Closet.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to care for our community with compassion and integrity, ensuring every person lives with health and dignity, even in life’s most difficult moments, and regardless of their ability to pay.
