We are filled with gratitude to celebrate our director of Foundation — Lailan McGrath for being a part of Pacific Coast Business Times Who's Who in Nonprofits & Foundations.

Each year, the VNA Health Foundation gives over $2.3M in subsidized charitable care. The funds we raise support services for residents in need of home health, home hospice, inpatient care at Serenity House, bereavement care, music services, pet therapy, and free durable medical equipment loans through the Loan Closet.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to care for our community with compassion and integrity, ensuring every person lives with health and dignity, even in life’s most difficult moments, and regardless of their ability to pay.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Sena Woodall RN, MSN, MBA, our Vice President of Operations, has been named one of The Pacific Coast Business Times’ Who’s Who in Healthcare honorees! 🎉

We are honored to celebrate you, Sena, and even more grateful to work alongside you every day.

“Sena Woodall is the head of the overall direction for hospice services and establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy. She spent nearly ten years in the business world before making the move into clinical. She spent over thirteen years in clinical; with eight years in nursing. Sena received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication and a Minor in Art History from the University of Arizona. In 2016, she received her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Leadership in Healthcare Systems and a Practicum in Nursing Leadership; and in 2021 she received a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management.“

We are so proud of you, Sena, and the way you champion compassion, integrity, teamwork, and excellence in every decision you make inspires us all.
