We're thankful to receive such a nice note from our client, Steve:

Katerina and Peggy,

I would like to take the time to thank you for the tremendous amount of work and professionalism in taking care of my mother over the past several months. It is an overwhelming amount of work and stress to try and become conversant in later stage health care without much advance notice. I am very reliant on trusted, positive referrals in my decision making processes. I was very happy that you were recommended and have no regrets with the whole experience.

My experience at Casa Santecito could not have been better. The staff was kind and extremely diligent under some tough circumstances. I would not hesitate to tell anyone to consider the Casa as great choice.

Thank you for past, present, and future advice and wish you all the best.

Sincerely,
Steve McMahon

We so enjoyed Wood Glen Hall's 65th Anniversary Celebration where Salud Carbajal, Monique Limon and others, gave interesting and entertaining talks about this historic place and the people who founded it. A little slice of local Santa Barbara history. Great.

Oh, and it was also nice to join everyone in the beautiful courtyard and enjoy refreshments!

Affordable Housing in Santa Barbara County is something many can only dream about. Especially seniors on fixed low incomes.

It has been Rona Barrett's longtime mission to make that a dream come true for them. She and her RFB foundation, dedicated to providing good, affordable housing for seniors, built, own, and operate The Golden Inn & Village, a beautiful and affordable Senior Community in Solvang.

Affordable Assisted Living? That Does Not Exist At All. Yet.

RFB is now adding an Affordable Assisted Living Community to The Golden Inn & Village, which will provide comprehensive services to those in need of greater care: Three meals a day, personal assistance, housekeeping, laundry, transportation, life enriching activities, and more. All at a low price they can truly afford.

Thank you Ronna! What a gift to our community!

Our Story

We specialize in placement of Seniors in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Alzheimer's, and Memory Care in Santa Barbara County. Through our affiliates, we also assist in finding placement options ranging from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles Counties.

We connect you with the support you need, wherever you are, because we understand how difficult and time consuming it can be to find an appropriate home to accommodate you or your loved one.

We help you find the most suitable place, for everyone. Because we personally visit the local communities we recommend regularly, we get valuable feedback from those we have helped to place and their families. We also receive up to date State Inspection Reports for each facility on a regular basis. Our Placement Criteria includes: • Facility must be licensed by the Department of Social Services • Compassionate and competent care givers • Activities, outings, and exercise programs • Strict Sanitary Guidelines • Well balanced and tasty meals, which may be tailored to each person’s dietary needs • Stringent security and safety measures maintained for the utmost quality of care and safety Starting with a complete assessment of you or your loved one’s medical, social, psychological, and financial needs, we narrow down a few options that may best meet them. From there, we arrange tours of each community so you can see them for yourselves, meet the staff, and ask all the questions you need answers to. - Depending on your preference, we are glad to accompany you, or arrange for you to go on your own.

After you or your loved one moves in, they and you are not alone. We follow up often. Visiting all of our local communities on a regular basis, we make a point to check in with those who have made the choice to live there. This ensures that the home we have chosen together, is the right one. Though it’s exceedingly rare, should it not be a good fit for whatever reason, we are here to help find a better one. Please consult our website, call, or email us, and check out our app for more information. We are honored and grateful to help families, who like ours, have had to deal with some tough choices. Best wishes.
