Dancing was my safe space, an expression of deep emotion. A place I would go to tell a story, find comfort when life became difficult, a space that was sacred to me. Dance was me and I was dance. It was my first true love.

So when I dressed Indigo and put her ballet shoes on for the first time, tears of joy rolled down my face. Sharing my love and passion for dance with my daughter has been something I’ve been looking forward to since the moment I found out I was pregnant. I hope she finds inner peace with dancing. No matter what her journey is with dance I will always support her, but I do hope my love for dancing will shine through her.

As our beautiful state of California begins to reopen I want you to know that I am going to begin taking clients again. The last months were filled with uncertainty, confusion and questioning, but its time to rebuild and move forward. Now more than ever it’s important to take care of your mind, body and spirit. Please rest assured that my health has been great over the last months, and when we meet in person I will take every precaution to keep your health my top priority. I am also happy to come to you if you feel more comfortable in your own home during this time.

Meditation & Breathing

As you begin your meditation take in a deep breath. Inhale through your nose, fill your chest with your breath and release through your mouth. As you inhale and exhale, focus on the breath. If attention wanders, return to the breath and relax both your mind and body. By taking in these slow and deep breaths it will help to settle the mind and body to establish presence in your space.

When I’m working with clients I have always focused on proper form. I believe it’s so beautiful when an individual walks into a room with their shoulder back with beautiful form. Here I give tips on how to perform a proper downward facing dog. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Downward Facing Dog :

1. From Table position, tuck the toes under, press into the hands and begin to lift the hips up towards the ceiling/ or sky 😉

2. Spread your fingers wide apart with the middle finger facing forward, and the your palms shoulder width apart. Press out through the fingers and edges of the hands.

3. Using straight (but not locked) arms, press the hips up and back. Lift up through the tailbone to keep the spine straight and long. Keep your shoulders externally rotated.

4. Have the feet hip’s width apart with the toes facing forward. Press the heels into the floor feeling a stretch in the back of the legs. (**remember not all yogis are flexible enough to press their heels down. Know your body and your edges **) The legs are straight, or you can have a small bend at the knees to keep the back flat.

5. Let the head and neck stay in line with your spine. Do not rotate head up to make a U shape.

6. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale.

7. To release: bend the knees and lower the hips back to table position, or come all the way down to child pose.

Happy November 1st.
Here is a beautiful insight on what this month holds✨

We focus on TRUTH this month as an energy with the opportunity to tap into a greater and higher truth as well as to discover our own truth on many levels allowing us to speak and make choices from our own truth rather than a truth we don’t resonate with.

This month we all have a great opportunity to reconnect with TRUTH as an energy. The first step is to eliminate the fear that truth is something we don’t want to see or experience. The second step is to recognize that we do not have to conform to collective beliefs that do not resonate with us. The third step is to trust a deeper intuition that will allow us to experience TRUTH as a download, an insight, an “aha” moment of clarity, a light bulb going off. The fourth step is to speak what you “know” is your truth (not using it as an excuse to judge others) and to take right action based on that truth.

This is going to impact everything from your health decisions to your work, where you live, who you are with and how you live your life. What can get in the way of experiencing this amazing energy is resistance, judgment, criticism and any negative reaction that keeps you engaged in polarity, argument and being at war with yourself or others. This is a challenge since there is much to feel at war with. However, energy works in mysterious ways. Open to TRUTH, stay in your own lane, focus on your own life and healing, and that will have a ripple effect on healing everything around you.

At the age of 5 I was first introduced to mediation by my aunt. I remember sitting on her wooden floor in her West Hollywood home as Enya played in the background and a candle was lit behind us. As I sat in front of her she spoke softly to me and guided me through meditation. I recall feeling pure happiness and peace. From that moment forward I have always held my spirituality very close to my heart. As I grew older I knew that I was meant to not only be a student of my spiritual practice, but also a teacher. I spent years learning and practicing, but I wasn't sure on how to make the transition to teacher. It wasn't until the unexpected passing of my dad a few years ago that everything became very clear to me. I needed to no longer have the uncertainty of how I would reach my future students and just know that I have a gift and I need to share it with them. From that moment forward I became clear with my intentions and purpose. I am a healer. I am here to share my light and to bring love and life into all those that I come into contact with.

July was a beautiful month for me. I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at the incredible and achieved my Reiki Master Certification. To say I feel blessed would be an understatement. The pure joy and excitement I am feeling is overwhelming and I can’t wait to share this journey with you all.
