“How tight should I make my Rockworkx hardtop thumb screws?” 🔧

We hear this one all the time. Here’s the simple version:

👉 Tighten with the D-ring until you feel firm resistance
👉 Stop while you can still loosen it by hand
👉 If it feels secure while driving, you’re good

Factory specs range from 7–15 ft-lbs, but most Jeep & Bronco owners go by feel.

Rockworkx screws make this easier thanks to:

- 1.25–1.3” billet aluminum head (better load spread)
- POM polymer spacer (no metal on fiberglass + no binding)
- Integrated D-Ring (tighten/loosen by hand + attach straps)
