You may or may not know this, but I love journaling, and have been an almost daily journaler since 2016. I'd love to say it's for the neural benefits that are delineated in this short video, but really it's to justify my obsession with stationery. Also I just love the satisfaction of using up all the ink in my pen, or completing a notebook.
But really, there are so many benefits to journaling for self care, neural plasticity, emotional regulation, and stress reduction that makes me want to share this little joy with you. I hope you try out this fun hobby/habit! If you do, let me know! I love hearing the different styles of journaling and the different preferred supplies! Currently I use 3... One agenda and record keeping, one for lecture or reading notes, and one for jotting down things about Edison and zinnia that I want to remember. What do you do? What do you want to try?
