Mental  Health Hookup Mental Health Hook-Up: Guiding you and your loved ones to the support, care, and resources you need. We believe that mental illness affects the whole family.

We believe in the humane delivery of services and opportunities for stabilization that can relieve some of the pressure and anxiety that comes with chaos in the home. For that reason, we engage with family members. We provide mental health social services. This means we provide clinical care management, referrals, individual and family therapy, and placement just to name a few. We make home calls, so we can come to you. We service the greater Los Angeles Area and surrounding Counties. We serve adults, whether they are "aging out" of childhood benefits, or in need of more comprehensive care coordination. Family members who struggle with understanding multiple-care systems

My colleagues and I wrote to the USDA Secretary to ask her to use SNAP’s reserve funds to keep SNAP available in November, even if the government shutdown continues.

42 million Americans use SNAP to help feed their families so they can pay for other essentials like groceries and health care. SNAP has reserves for this explicit purpose, and it’s critical that they are used.

Join Disability Rights California for a free webinar, Ableism & Democracy: The Road We've Traveled and the Future We're Building, on Tuesday, October 28 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. This session is in recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) and will honor the history and power of the disability rights movement, especially the impact of Black people with disabilities.
