💘 We felt the love at Non-Profit Love Match!

Child & Family Center was proud to welcome this special event into our Education Center while also joining the fun as one of the participating nonprofits. Thank you to the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce for bringing together so many incredible organizations, professionals, and community members who care deeply about making a difference.

The room was full of great conversations, new connections, and lots of heart as people explored ways to give back, get involved, and support causes they’re passionate about. Events like this remind us how strong our community is when we come together with a shared purpose.

What an incredible day connecting with students! 💬✨

Child & Family Center’s CORE Outreach & Prevention Team showed up strong with two engaging activities at Knight High School, and the turnout did not disappoint!

📚 At the Resource Fair, we had meaningful conversations and even connected with a student who stood out and will be receiving follow-up support for our mental health programs.

🍎 Our Lunch n Learn was buzzing with groups of students eager to jump into interactive questions, activities, and real talk about wellness and prevention.

Our hearts are heavy as we share how deeply saddened we are to hear of the tragic accident in Colorado involving a girls youth hockey team.

We are holding every player, teammate, coach, parent and loved one in our thoughts.

Our President/CEO has spoken with Kimberly Major with Colorado State Patrol Victim Services and have been in touch locally with Christina Littlefield at SCV Flyers (the hockey club), as well as a parent of two of her daughters were involved.

Child & Family Center will be offering free counseling services to those impacted by this traumatic event. Details will be provided very soon.

In moments like this, our community wraps around one another. We stand with you—and I’m incredibly proud of our team who will be here to support healing in the days ahead.
