Robyn-Michele Jones is a BCTA/NA approved teacher, massage therapist, advanced Myofascial Release Therapist, and Reiki Master, with a Master’s degree in Core Process Psychotherapy. She has been practicing bodywork since 1984. In both privately run classes and as an instructor at Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts, she has been supporting students in discovering their innate healing capacities since 2002. Her teaching style is collaborative and balanced between the experiential and informational. Robyn-Michele Jones, MA, MT, RCST, received her original certification in Swedish Massage and Polarity in 1984 and has continued to study many modalities both Eastern and Western. Deeply drawn to the fluid interface between the energetic and the physical, she has been focusing on John Barnes style Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy since 1998. Passionate about working with connective tissue, she is always learning more about the healing benefits of hydration of our tissues and the gentle, natural release of stress and trauma. With her profound interest in our healing as a whole, she studied Core Process Psychotherapy with Maura and Franklyn Sills, an embodied mindfulness-based practice. Robyn-Michele designed and has been teaching "Intrinsic Touch" at Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts, in Santa Cruz California, since 2002. She was certified as a teacher of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in 2011. In May 2014 she taught a well-received Intrinsic Touch (Craniosacral focus) workshop at the Ashland Institute of Massage and will return in the Spring of 2015 to teach visceral work. In March 2015, she will teach an Introduction to BCST as a stand alone course and as the beginning to a new 2-year BCST Foundation training in Ashland. Currently in Santa Cruz, she is teaching her second 2-year BCST training and in the Summer through Fall taught a 70-hour full Intrinsic Touch course.
