Something I Can’t Explain ✨ As some of you know, part of my work involves one-on-one readings where I listen for information that doesn’t always come from usual places, sometimes including loved ones who have passed.
I approach this work with care, and I only share stories like this with the full consent of the person involved— especially when an experience, while not unusual in my work, continues to leave me in awe.
I was in a session with a woman named Denise when her father, Norman, who had recently passed, came through for the first time. He arrived immediately, without being called on, and from my description, Denise recognized him right away.
At one point, Denise asked how she might feel more connected to him on a regular basis. Norman’s response was clear and specific. He asked me to tell her: through a keychain. I relayed this message to Denise and asked her if she already had one that reminded her of him. She said no—-but that she felt inspired to go out and get one.
Shortly after our session, Denise was reviewing her notes and sharing parts of her experience with her daughter, who suddenly paused and pointed to the page. “Why do you have keychain written here?” Denise explained the moment from the session and watched as her daughter’s jaw dropped to the floor.
It was days before Christmas.
“Well, I guess the surprise isn’t a surprise anymore, mom.”
Her daughter had already bought her a keychain— the letter N, for Norman, in a script that resembled the way he used to write letters to the family.
