Community Connection A nonprofit mental health program of the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County supporting adults and their families.

Community Connections provides free resources and support for people managing mental health issues, family members or concerned friends, and providers. If you are looking to take hold of new educational opportunities, build your job skills, or connect with a caring, supportive community, we are your community connection. Community Connections is funded in part by Santa Cruz County Mental Health Services, State of California Department of Rehabilitation and the Kaiser Permanente Foundation. A division of the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County, our mission is to empower our mental health community through wellness, meaningful activity, and community connection.

Community Connections is proud partner of Second Harvest Food Bank, working together to ensure our community has access to food and essential support.

We provide food bags regularly for anyone in need:

Community Connection Supports adults with psychiatric disabilities and their families in achieving greater independence and an improved quality of life as members of the community. We believe that each person that walks through our doors has a gift. Our job is to support them in discovering those gifts and reaching their full potential. Community Connection is funded in part by Santa Cruz County Mental Health Services and State of California Department of Rehabilitation.
