Glenn Kazmierski LAc is a faculty member at Five Branches University and a Board Certified instructor for the American Academy of Physical Oriental Medicine (AAPOM). He is a former clinical acupuncturist at Kaiser Permanente musculoskeletal/spine care services and works with workman's comp patients. Glenn currently maintains a private practice in downtown Santa Cruz at The Maple Street Clinic. Happy Lunar New Year!

Chinese New Year typically falls on the second new moon after the Winter Solstice. What is the Yin Wood Snake you say?

YIN - Represents the capacity for renewal from places that are veiled. The Yin is forever the hidden Source of what may come.

WOOD - Wood is groundbreaking. It gives new energy for life, erupting from the roots into vision and new growth.

SNAKE - A medicinal being that summons alertness. Snake keeps her soft belly resonating with the Earth, listening through the body.
