Job Title: Credentialing Specialist
Location: Onsite
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to manage and maintain provider credentialing processes. The ideal candidate will ensure all healthcare providers meet regulatory and organizational requirements, maintaining accuracy and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, submit, and track credentialing and re-credentialing applications
Verify provider credentials including licenses, certifications, education, and work history
Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records and databases
Communicate with insurance networks, licensing boards, and internal departments
Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely renewals
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Resolve discrepancies and follow up on pending applications
Requirements:
Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience preferred
1β3 years of credentialing experience in healthcare or related field
Strong knowledge of credentialing processes and compliance standards
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office and credentialing software systems
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CAQH, PECOS, or similar systems
Familiarity with insurance provider enrollment processes
