March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

This month we recognize and support all those who are currently battling colorectal cancer, those who have fought bravely, and the families who walk alongside them on this journey.

At De Oro Home Care, caring for individuals and families during some of life’s most challenging moments is at the heart of what we do. This month holds special meaning for our family as well. We would like to take a moment to recognize and honor our father, who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. His strength, courage, and resilience continue to inspire us every day.

Colorectal cancer awareness is about more than just recognition — it’s about education, early detection, support, and compassion for those affected.

To everyone going through this battle: you are not alone. We stand with you, your families, and the caregivers who support you.

A stroke is a medical emergency that occurs when the blood flow to the brain is disrupted, leading to brain damage, disability, or even death. The interruption of blood flow can happen due to a blocked blood vessel (ischemic stroke) or a ruptured one (hemorrhagic stroke). There is also a type of stroke called transient ischemic attack (TIA), a temporary disruption of blood flow to the brain.
