A lot can change when you stop waiting to feel ready and decide you’re worthy of more.

Taking action builds confidence. It creates momentum. It helps break the cycles of fear, doubt, and stagnation.

You do not have to earn it first. You just have to choose it.

And sometimes, choosing movement is where that begins.
💪🤍

Created in collab with instructor Lindsey. Try her classes Tuesdays at Noon, Fridays at 12:15 pm and Saturdays at 10:30 am!

Start where you are. We’ll meet you there, with warmth, love, and support.

Here’s your gentle reminder that the sacred and the ordinary are inextricably linked.

Your breath on the mat and the “messy” parts of being human--the car clutter, the unopened bills, the hard conversations--all belong. Nothing is outside the sacred.

Today’s quote was chosen by our very own yoga instructor, Willow Brook. As Willow reminds us, “Too often spirituality is presented as separate from our messy daily human experience.” This is your invitation to let your practice meet your real life.

If this speaks to you, save it to come back to or share it with someone who could use the reminder.

We asked Hot 26 & 2 yoga instructor Tara () a question we hear all the time: What’s the difference between 26 & 2 Triangle and a Vinyasa Extended Side Angle?

She said:

"In 26 & 2 Triangle, the focus is stability and structure. The stance is shorter, the hips stay more centered, and the shape emphasizes compression and strength through the legs and core. It’s steady, contained, and powerful.

In Vinyasa Extended Side Angle, the stance is typically longer and more dynamic. There’s more freedom in the torso, more length through the side body, and often more fluid transitions in and out of the pose. It’s expansive and flowing."

Same family of shapes. Different intention and style of yoga.

In this video, instructor Tara walks you a 26 & 2 Triangle pose so that you can feel the difference in your own body. Save this for the next time you need a reminder.

Tara teaches Hot 26 & 2 Sunday through Friday at Santa Fe Thrive. Head to the link in bio to book your next class with her!

Meet Lynne. 💙

A former Crime Scene Investigator in Maryland, Lynne first turned to yoga for stress relief while working in a high-pressure field. After years of personal training and teaching cycling on the side, she took a leap of faith in 2013 to pursue yoga and fitness full-time, and hasn’t looked back.

With a deep understanding of therapeutics and human biomechanics, Lynne creates classes that are both thoughtful and effective. Her new Yoga Conditioning class blends yoga and functional fitness into a practice that is challenging, supportive, and totally fun. Practicing with Lynne reminds you how capable, adaptable, and strong you truly are.

When she’s not teaching at Thrive or working as a personal trainer, you’ll likely find her hiking with her pups, learning something new, making pottery, or rock climbing.

Say “hi” to Lynne in the comments and book a spot in one of her classes at the link in bio.

Here’s your gentle reminder that growth often begins right where comfort ends.

Stay as long as you’re steady. Then challenge yourself to a few more breaths. That’s where strength builds, physically and mentally.

If this speaks to you, save it to come back to or share it with someone who might love it too.

On March 7th (1 to 2:30 pm), join us for a Somatic Practice Circle with guest instructor Caro Myers. It's a 90-minute workshop designed to help you slow down, tune inward, and return to your body in a supportive group setting.

Somatic practices are gentle, body-based tools that build awareness of what’s happening inside (breath, tension, sensation, and emotion), so you can meet yourself with more steadiness and care. Through simple guided movement, mindful attention, and moments of stillness, you’ll explore approachable ways to support nervous system regulation and restore a sense of presence.

We’ll also make space for journaling and reflection to support integration, and close with a short meditation to help settle and absorb what you’ve practiced.

No prior experience is required. This circle is designed to be grounding, accessible, and supportive for anyone who wants to reconnect with themselves.

Come as you are, and join us in creating space to listen, soften, and slow down together. ✨
