✨ Experience Pueblo culture in motion! ✨
Our Cultural Dance Program celebrates the seasonal cycles through prayer, song, and dance. These dances honor our ancestors, strengthen community, and carry traditions forward. As the only place in North America to offer Native American dances every weekend year‑round, we’re proud to welcome dance groups from the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico and neighboring Tribal Nations.
From spring through winter, visitors can enjoy social dances shared with the public, and some groups even invite you to join in a Round Dance. Each performance is a vibrant expression of Pueblo life, connection, and cultural continuity.
If you’re interested in having your group join our Cultural Dance Program, we’d love to connect. Please fill out the application on our website or contact our Cultural Programs Department at 505‑314‑8203.

Our Story

The new Performing Arts program at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico welcomes all to learn about Indigenous-based theater, music, movement, puppetry--the power of the performing arts. A newly accredited BFA and AFA program, we are creating a new narrative reclaiming our histories, building and healing communities and honoring nations. We invite everyone from all four directions to visit us at our new Performing Arts Center and see the “magic”. Better yet, join our community and become part of the magic! We are all related.
