Today I had the honor of attending the luncheon hosted by New Beginnings SSVF Program, and my heart is full. Thank you so much for inviting us and for creating space where community partners can come together, learn from one another, and continue strengthening the work we do for our unhoused community.

I also want to give a special shoutout to our Housing Navigator, Kim Mendoza. Her collaboration with the New Beginnings team helped get a shared client housed a true milestone and a beautiful reminder that none of this work happens alone.

Moments like these remind me that it truly takes a village. When agencies lean in, share resources, and stay connected, lives change. Thank you, New Beginnings, for being part of that village and for the ongoing partnership.

Together, we make stability possible.

Every day, family caregivers show extraordinary love and strength as they support parents, partners, grandparents, children, and loved ones through some of life’s most challenging moments.
They balance appointments, medications, daily routines, emotional support, and moments of uncertainty often while juggling their own families, jobs, and responsibilities.
