Not every retreat is created equal.

Some are beautiful.
Some are popular.
Some look perfect on Instagram.

But very few carry depth.

At Yogi Times, we don’t just scroll and share.
We visit the spaces.
We meet the teachers.
We feel the energy.

Because choosing a retreat means investing your time, your money… and a part of yourself.

We look for alignment.
Integrity.
Presence.
Soul.

And when we find it, we share it.

One of the retreats we’ve carefully selected is happening March 7–11.

If you’ve been craving a pause, a reset, a deeper reconnection…
this might be your moment.

Flexibility grows with repetition.
Tight hips. Heavy shoulders. A stiff lower back after hours at a desk. The body adapts to what we do most and most of us spend our days sitting, scrolling, rushing.

A few intentional minutes can shift that pattern.

These five poses create space through the hamstrings, hip flexors, spine, and shoulders. Move slowly. Stay long enough for the breath to settle. Let the muscles respond rather than react.

Five breaths per posture.
Ten quiet minutes.
Three times a week.

Progress comes from consistency, not intensity.

Save this sequence for later and return to it regularly.
Notice what changes after two weeks.

Where do you feel tension building lately?

We tend to think meditation means clearing the mind.
No thoughts.
Total stillness.

But meditation goes far deeper than that.

“Meditation is not what you think.” – Mingyur Rinpoche

It’s the quiet courage to sit with whatever arises.
The willingness to notice your thoughts instead of fighting them.
A soft return to the breath, again and again.

Some days it feels peaceful.
Other days, messy. Restless. Human.

And that’s the practice.

What if you stopped trying to “get it right”?
What if you allowed yourself to simply show up, exactly as you are?

✨ That’s where everything shifts.

Bhutan lingers in the memory like a scent. Subtle, sacred, impossible to place.

In his latest story for YOGI TIMES, photographer and writer Nuno reveals a kingdom that moves by intuition, not by force. Prayer flags ripple beside fiber optics. Monks pass quietly through courtyards where smartphones rest in folded palms. Nothing feels out of place. Every detail belongs.
His images do not chase spectacle. They wait. They listen. They carry the stillness of a place where progress is shaped by wisdom, not urgency.

Bhutan does not ask to be admired. It invites you to notice. And in that noticing, something within begins to soften.

Bhutan, seen not through spectacle but through stillness.

In this moving study by Nuno, the camera does not lead. It follows. Light shifts. Wind speaks. Nothing is staged. Everything is felt.
Each frame reveals a culture where ritual is rhythm and space is sacred. There are no performances here. Just presence. Unfiltered and unhurried.

The result is not a travel video. It is a meditation in motion.

What if true modernity meant knowing how to slow down?

In his latest piece for YOGI TIMES, photographer and conscious explorer takes us deep into the heart of Bhutan — not as a country stuck in time, but as a living example of mindful progress and embodied wisdom.

This isn’t a story of escape.
It’s an invitation to question how we move through the world, how we define success, and how we reconnect with what truly matters.

📸 Through Nuno’s lens, each image becomes a breath.
🧘 Each word, a pause.
🚫 No billboards, no rush, just space, silence, and sacred balance.

Bhutan doesn’t perform. It simply is.
And in a world addicted to speed, that’s quietly revolutionary.
