At just one week, swelling and bruising are still present. However, this is not the final result. Incisions are fresh, the tissues are settling, and shape will continue to refine over the next several weeks to months.

“How long do I need off work after a facelift?”

While we’ve seen a patient return as early as 4 days, that is NOT typical — and we strongly encourage proper rest in the early healing phase.
Recovery is an essential part of your result. Swelling, bruising, and internal healing are still happening even if you feel okay.

Return to work depends on:
• Your job (desk vs. physically demanding)
• Your comfort with visible bruising/swelling
• Your individual healing process

Some patients choose to wear glasses and a mask early on, but regardless, the priority should always be safe healing and optimal results.
Plan appropriately. Don’t rush your recovery.

Fat grafting is not one-size-fits-all. ❌

Structural fat is used to restore volume and contour, while nanofat is processed differently and used to improve skin quality, texture, and overall refinement. Same source, different purpose.

Understanding the difference allows for a more customized and natural rejuvenation plan!

Recovery matters! 💫

In select cases, we use Exparel during surgery to help reduce postoperative discomfort and support a smoother early recovery. It’s a long-acting local anesthetic designed to provide extended pain control in the first few days after surgery.

It’s not necessary for every procedure, but when appropriate, it can be a helpful part of a comprehensive pain management plan.

This patient previously had implants, removed them, and later decided she wanted to restore fullness again. This time, we combined new implants with a lift to improve position, shape, and overall contour.

The lift elevates the breast tissue while the implants restore volume, creating a fuller, higher, and more balanced result.
Initial result shown. Implants will settle and shape will continue to refine with healing.

Arm Lipo 360 reshaped the arms circumferentially, creating a slimmer, smoother contour from all angles. Helium plasma was used to support skin tightening and enhance overall tone.
At this stage, we’re already seeing beautiful definition and a noticeable reduction in fullness. Swelling will continue to improve over the next few months.
We were expecting more skin laxity this early on — but the retraction so far has been very encouraging.

A true deep neck lift treats excess fat, debulks the submandibular gland when needed, and repositions the underlying muscle to elevate the neck and sharpen the jawline. The goal is definition without hollowing and lift without tension.
