This patient had some worn down teeth with chipping of the enamel on the fronts of the teeth, thus exposing the dentin underneath which is even yellower. We started with some veneers in the top to put back the worn dentition and brighten up the color. She was so pleased with the results.

This lovely patient was not happy with all the patch up dentistry and failing dental work on her teeth that were done previously elsewhere. We decided to do some veneers on top. We extracted a failing tooth on the bottom and restored the lowers with a bridge and crowns. She was more than ecstatic with her new smile. Keep Smiling. cosmeticdentistry #. This is a very nice case of changing a full porcelain crown where the shadow of the dark tooth underneath was coming through. We changed it to a porcelain fused to Zirconia crown and matched it to the implant crown next to it. Yes, the other central tooth is an implant crown. Getting the color matched was very important. Back at it again. Running the UCLA 5K with the family. Great day to run. Happy to be back in my old stumping ground. It felt great running past these college kids at my age. But no matter how fast I run, I’m no match to my kids. Really nice to run with my old friend .

The strength and durability of porcelain is quite remarkable. We were able to save healthy tooth structure and place a conservative porcelain restoration. No need for a crown. This restoration should last a long time.

A lithium disilicate(E. Max) porcelain inlay or only is one of the best restorations in dentistry. Teeth can be restored very conservatively. No excessive drilling needs to be done to make a crown. You can save plenty of healthy tooth structure. Porcelain is durable enough to stand the chewing forces. It will not wear down like a filling will.

This is 50. I am officially closer to 100 than I am to birth 😀. So grateful to be celebrating this milestone with my beautiful family. This birthday also marks the year that I have celebrated more birthdays with my wife Sara 🙏. I feel very blessed to be a part of this amazing family. Here’s to 50 more.

It was exactly 21 years ago that a young Omid Kashani took on a new endeavor by owning a dental office in the beautiful city of Monrovia. Lots have changed since then. We moved to a bigger location in 2015. I never stopped improving. Continued getting better at my craft. Made patients my number one priority (that kinda explains the 5 minute lunches).
