Educate yourself, stay healthy. For the best, healthiest, low risk pregnancy you need to know all your options. My philosophy is simple.

As an experienced labor doula and childbirth educator, Atoosa Benji helps guide you to a birth experience you can feel positively about. It’s not about the epidural! It’s not about the water-birth! It’s not about the Cesarean section! Yet, at the same time, it is about all of these options. Healthy mother, healthy baby- is the top goal, keeping in mind that a mother’s emotional well-being is also vital. I believe in the power of information. Ask questions, know your options. Read, ponder, do your own evidence-based research. Birth cannot be planned or controlled, that is a fact. But, you can avail yourself to childbirth educators, advocates, birth ambassadors and doulas who can help guide you. I am honored to be an educator and to be able to bring power of choice through knowledge. Often my students have said, “Atoosa -you changed my whole view on birth and opened my eyes to options I never thought I had”. Comments like this are the reason I am so passionate about what I do. I am honored and privileged to work in this field and to have the opportunity to help families explore their options. If you want an epidural or a water birth or a C-Section because you “heard it’s better”- let’s chat. This is your journey, and you can navigate the way with a map in your hand, not reading off someone else’s already used one.
