Euclid’s first time running full speed off leash with me and boy am I sore today! Obliques the most, then glutes, entire upper back followed by some adductor & hammies. Running really is a full body workout!

The best part was my hip flexors felt a massive release immediately afterwards… a sensation I had strived to achieve when I used to chronically stretch but was still in constant pain. (I haven’t stretched for over a decade now and am fully pain and ache free).

Running has never felt this good and it’s only feels better as time goes on thanks to training methodology.

Side note I am a proud Momma knowing my 1 year old Shih Tzu can out pace me 🤣

When it comes to standing posture there are a variance of different postures that people have. The question we ask is whether or not these postures can facilitate efficient motion when that person decides to move around or exercise.

Aside from walking, running and throwing, your standing posture is essentially the bedrock of your structure. The way we see it is that a solid foundation needs to be laid before you start building out the rest of your structure and stacking on muscle. The more problematic your base is, the less likely the muscle you stack on it is going to function optimally.

Most people look at posture in an isolated context and don’t consider that it’s fundamental in being able to move and function well outside of just standing. Before you can correct imbalances on a human structure when it’s in motion and exercising, you need to be able to correct these problems at the most basic level first and foremost. This being your standing posture.

Your posture is essentially the centre between extremes on a spectrum. It represents balance. If you’re stuck at one end of the spectrum as it relates to your how you stand, for example a kypholordosis, this is the default your body works from when it goes into motion. Keep in mind that the same imbalances present in your posture carry over to literally everything that you do when you move.

The more centered you are on that spectrum at rest, the more prepared you’ll be to move your body in ways that aren’t going to lead to problems down the track. You’ll be able to approach both sides of the spectrum in movement without relying solely on being stuck at one end with everything that you do. If you want to move and function optimally, it all starts with learning to stand correctly.

Great insight from this podcast with Naudi Aguilar (I’ll post the link to full episode in my stories).

What puts way ahead of the curve in both the strength/conditioning & rehab industry are variables nobody else is accounting for:

The precise ratios involved in motion propulsion to eliminate joint collision when moving in space.

While everyone else is stuck in a linear model of movement based on joint isolation versus looking at how the body moves as a whole, FP practitioners around the world are consistently pumping out hundreds of undeniable results :

I’ll be honest, people are worse off today than they were 10 years ago, and it’s not even close. Why? Because people are doing far more damage to themselves now than before. Back then, stretching and passive therapies weren’t nearly as widespread, let alone all the exogenous substances doctors are putting people on today. People have been run through a meat grinder.

If you’re someone who’s been through that, rebuilding isn’t an overnight process. On top of that, there are habits you’ve held onto that are still working against you. Some you might not be aware of, but let’s be real, most people know they could clean up their behavior outside the gym.

Let’s do better. Or we can keep running to big pharma and see how that plays out… 😬

Fantastic guidance here by .certified HBS ! Guiding people down the path towards sustainability!

I’ve always worked to evolve FP so it can help as many people as possible. There were times early on when a client’s pain wouldn’t resolve, and it would keep me up at night—knowing I was missing something in how I was getting people to move through space.

Over time, I identified foundational principles that make the body move better—principles that apply across all biological organisms. I’m far from finished, but the progress has been deeply rewarding.

If you’re stuck with your body, FP offers a reliable path forward.

“When I started working with Nina, my body was struggling. I had (5/10) shoulder pain , (4/10) low back pain, & (4/10) neck pain. I was also inflamed and carrying extra weight, and I just didn’t feel good in my body. From the first session, Nina noticed things I needed to work on. Her eye for detail and the way she guided me through corrective movements and chambers made a difference right away. Little by little, the pain started to release and my movement began to improve. I am now completely pain free in my shoulder, low back and neck. What I love about Nina is how patiently and consistently she worked with me. She didn’t just look at my knee or my shoulder, she looked at me as a whole person. She helped me understand my patterns, my posture, my lifestyle, and even my nutrition. I always felt supported, cared for, and truly seen.

In early 2025, I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma cancer. It was a life changing moment and my body needed a level of attention and gentleness I’d never experienced before. Through treatments and recovery, Nina adapted everything with so much skill and sensitivity. She listened deeply to what my body needed each week, and our FP sessions became a major part of my healing, helping me stay strong, oxygenate my body, and stay connected to myself. A few weeks ago, my test results came back showing no evidence of cancer. I know FP played a meaningful role in my recovery, and Nina’s dedication, patience, and expertise were a part of that outcome. Throughout this journey , I have lost 25 lbs , feel amazing and energized. I have become a new person who’s stronger than ever. I’m so grateful for her support and for helping me not just move better, but move like a healthier, more integrated human being.”

Before: Jan & April 2024
After: Nov 2025

Before: lack of core tension, knee hyperextension, external tibial torsion, lack of connectivity through motions.

After : Improved movement sequencing and overall tensegrity. Improved rotation of femur versus tibial rotation/knee valgus. Improved myofascial force transfer through her slings.

“Before FP I was experiencing chronic pain in the sacrum, left hip, and lower back with intensity ranging between 8–10/10. The pain had been progressively getting worse over a 12 month period and increasingly disrupting my daily life.

I was dealing with severe bloating and full-body inflammation which further contributed to discomfort and a general sense of unwellness. My sleep was frequently interrupted due to pain, rarely getting more than a few hours at a time.

Previous attempts to address the pain pre-FP using chiro, massage and stretching did not work. Following consistent FP training, my pain levels have significantly decreased to zero.

I still use a support pillow for extended sitting or travel to prevent residual pain ( 1-5/10) but my recovery out of pain is faster, and my body feels more resilient. While I still experience occasional flare-ups (typically when my diet lapses). These incidents are now situational rather than constant. During these episodes, pain may reach a 5–7/10, primarily affecting the left hip and lower back. Outside of those moments, I experience significantly less discomfort.

Sleep has improved. I’m now able to sleep through the night consistently. There’s a noticeable reduction in systemic inflammation and a greater sense of physical balance.

One of the biggest changes has been my awareness of my patterns that lead to pain. FP has helped me understand how my tension imbalances and movement patterns are contributing factors. This insight alone has been incredibly empowering.

My overall improvement in quality of life is significant. Even low-grade pain used to consume me—affecting my mood, energy, and focus. Attempts to ignore it was exhausting. Now, with a better understanding of the underlying imbalances and how FP addresses them, I feel more in control of my health. The journey isn’t always easy, but the introduction to effective pain reduction through FP movements has been both relieving and motivating.”
