Samantha is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) graduate from the University of Southern
California, where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in OT. Her passion for occupational
therapy was sparked when she accompanied her cousin, who has Down Syndrome, to various
OT, PT, and speech therapy sessions and witnessed the transformative power of purposeful
play. This experience inspired her to pursue a career supporting individuals across the lifespan
in engaging in the meaningful activities they want, need, and love to do to the best of their
ability.
Samantha’s clinical experience spans hand therapy, community-based older adult care,
inpatient mental health, and outpatient pediatrics. As part of her doctoral capstone project,
Samantha designed and implemented a Kindergarten Readiness Program for preschoolers with
diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, vestibular and sensory processing
disorders, ADHD, and a rare chromosomal deletion. Drawing on current evidence and input
from local teachers and occupational therapists, she developed a curriculum addressing
executive function, sensory regulation, attention, routine participation, and school readiness
skills through engaging, play-based activities.
A Southern California native, Samantha enjoys traveling, reading, and cheering on her favorite
sports teams, especially at Dodger Stadium and the Coliseum. She is excited to bring her
clinical knowledge, along with her passion for music, to Abundance Therapies Inc.
