Today we honor caregivers, knowing well through our work that they often feel unseen and unheard. Taking care of an older adult who needs help with daily living activities is vitally important work, and it is hard—no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Today, on National Caregivers Day, we pay tribute to every caregiver's experience and offer our support.

Our Adult Day Center is a safe and engaging environment for those experiencing memory loss, enabling caregivers to work, attend to tasks, or just take a break. WISE Caregiver Support Groups create a safe space for those caring for older adults to share their challenges, joys, and frustrations without judgment.

Barbara Browning, WISE Board Director, leads multiple of these support groups and volunteers at our Adult Day Center.
